A Team Approach to Care
The Emerald Therapy Center Medical Division is proud to offer a holistic approach to mental health treatment. We have a dedicated team of medical professionals across western Kentucky, all committed to helping you become the best version of yourself.
We believe in a comprehensive approach to mental health. Medicine may not always be the first or only treatment. Our team works together to create personalized treatment plans that combine medical, clinical, and non-clinical services. We encourage not only psychiatric evaluations and treatments but also therapy and additional support services like Targeted Case Management (for those on Medicaid). You’re not alone in this journey—our team is here to support you every step of the way.
Alternative therapies include TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), a non-medicated treatment option for OCD and Major Depression. This innovation is just one example of how we integrate cutting-edge treatments into our holistic approach.

“I’ve learned depression and anxiety can slip up on you a little at a time and you may never notice it yourself. If you’re dealing with these types of things, these folks are great and I recommend them highly.” – Roy
Medication Management
We provide personalized medication plans to manage mental health conditions effectively, ensuring the right balance to support your overall well-being. Our team works closely with you to monitor and adjust medications as needed, always prioritizing your health and comfort.
Medication-Assisted Treatment
Our specialized care for individuals struggling with addiction combines medication with therapeutic support to promote lasting recovery. This evidence-based approach helps reduce withdrawal symptoms and cravings, making the journey to sobriety more manageable. The goal isn’t to replace a substance but to help the person taper off needing any substance, including this medication.
TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation)
Patients can drive themselves to treatment and it can take as little as 19 minutes. It’s a way to stimulate the nerve cells in the brain, helping target key areas that may be underactive for those struggling with depression or OCD. NOTE: TMS is FDA approved for patients 15 and above.
IV Ketamine
Ketamine treatment is a groundbreaking approach to mental health that fuels neuroplasticity, helping the brain regrow connections between nerve cells. According to a report by Yale Medicine, “We’re pinging the brain and triggering the brain’s resilience mechanisms to promote the maintenance circuits in the brain.” This innovative treatment is a crucial component in a mental health plan, addressing conditions like depression in a unique way.
Facial Therapy
Our facial therapy, also known as facial neuromodulation, involves botulinum toxin injections into the glabellar region of your face. Studies published in the National Library of Medicine have shown that this treatment can reduce symptoms of mild to moderate depression, with effects lasting 3-4 months from just one session.
Vitamin Therapy
Experience the rejuvenating benefits of our IV Vitamin Therapy, offering a range of options for those seeking stress relief, hydration, migraine relief, immunity boosts, and more. This quick, relaxing therapy delivers essential nutrients directly into your bloodstream, enhancing overall wellness.
